The service you require will depend on the text type and its target use and audience: a useful rule of thumb is that fact-heavy texts are suitable for standard proofreading (academic, legal, financial, medical, technical, etc.), while more creative texts need more thorough copy editing (light or heavy).

Track changes can be used on request – otherwise changes are made directly in a document and are only visible when compared with the source document. Since PDFs are corrected using editing tools and comments, an hourly rather than word charge applies.
